about
At St Giles, our aim is to serve Whittington and its locality
as followers and witnesses of Jesus Christ.
We try to do this by:
| |
loving God and loving our neighbour
|
| |
worshipping God
|
| |
celebrating God's love for all people, especially
at the important milestones of life: birth, baptism, marriage and death
|
| |
proclaiming the good news of God's love
|
| |
nurturing people on their spiritual journey
|
| |
helping those in need, through sickness,
bereavement, injustice or any other kind of trouble
|
As well as meeting together to worship God, St Giles has
a broad range of groups for children, young people and adults, including uniformed
organisations, a choir, Mothers' Union and various house groups and Christian
growth courses.
St Giles is the only place of worship in Whittington and
we try to provide a warm welcome to all.
